Finally made my first batch of fresh sausage.I may have mentioned before that when my father was alive he sold buthcher and sausage making supplies for 35 years.I allways helped my father make his own fresh sausage, being polish we never ever bought store bought sausage. My mother asked me to make some fresh sausage, the only grinder left in the house is a #10 so i used that. The spice mix I ordered from The Sausage Maker out of buffalo, they have great products, anyways I made 10 pounds from some boneless butts.I made a pattie to fry up and try and the flavor was good.
I will let you know how it tasted when it comes off the grill tonight, heres a couple pics of the finished product,I think they turned out great for my first solo effort and a little guidance from my helper(mom)
When me and my father used to make it it was alot easier with the big electric grinder and 20 litre tres spade stuffer. Now all I got to work with is a #10 hand grinder

| Probably wont be long before you have a stuffer and electric grinder, etc. Your a sausage maker now, theres no turning back. |
