| Anyone loading the SP with butts and brisky for an overnite cook so you have fresh Q for lunch? Will your local g-men let you do this unattended? |

I cook all of my butts and brisket overnight unattended for fresh meat everyday.

Is there anywhere that it would not be allowed to run a pit overnight? Especially a pit like a SP or OH that is thermostatic controlled. If, of course, you're running strictly as a stick burner, then I think it would be irresponsible to leave the pit alone unless you know it will hold temp for the amount of time you're leaving it.
I used to load a big Ole Hickory by 9pm every night, 7 days a week, and let it go till the morning. We used the gas assist so that temps stayed true. _________________ Somewhere in Kenya...a village is missing their idiot. |
