So is the roof going to get the H*Que Camo Treatment?
That is very impressive. It is going to turn heads both going down the road, and at contest.
Better invest in a good trailer lock. |

Thanks chuck!! Yes - the whole trailer is going to be OD green and then I've got a good friend who I plan on having do some letting with the H*QUE logo etc - should be awesome
Yeah - planning on a security investment - I'm pretty nervous about not having it at the house - but I think I've got some good ideas on keeping it around - at least I hope so |

Maybe one of those solar fence chargers would do the trick.
Here are some more pics.
I mounted the door sooner than I wanted but I had to make sure the folding handles would nest under the closed side. _________________ D. Tillery

Dad & I spent almost a solid day helping D yesterday - we finished up the right hand side and skinned it and then Dad & I starting painting - woo hoo!
D worked on doors and counterweights and handles - looking SHARP!
Really had a LOT of fun working with Dad and D - and my Dad enjoyed it as well - says he's ready to come back for another round - so a good time was had by us for sure!
Here come the current pics -
Dad got the 'honor' of applying the first brushes of the OD green paint -
First side painted - using a roller and oil based paint - it has a cool textured look to it - we liked it a lot -
Both sides flipped up for underside painting -
A shot of the paint under the sides - still have more to do - but it was a great start -
The 105 Howitzer Shell counterweight - worked perfectly - well done D!! -
D's handles - flip up and down before after cook - these work really nice -
A shot of the counterweight again - in open position -
Things are progressing nicely and looking great - will post more when we get em! |

We're working hard but she's not gonna make the cook off unfortunately - but h*que will be there - Ralph Weller was kind enough to let me borrow his backwoods for the comp - so we'll be there thowing our hat in the ring.
Saw it today - the door/counterweights are looking sweet - I'll post some pics later - but things are progressing nicely! |

Thats too bad. D is a great guy and I know he gave it hell trying to get it done for the start of the year but sometimes the build is the boss. _________________ It will be done when its done! |

Yeah - he's been working real hard on it - just a lot of rig - but I know without a shadow of a doubt, it'll be everything and then some when it's done - so no worries for sure |
