Legal roadside vending here is regulated by the State Department of Professional Regulation, and the rules have been adopted so that a uniform safe operating guideline is in place to protect the public.

My mobile unit is cleaner than most commercial kitchens-people like clean!

Good luck to your vendors.......................

I bet they are unable to get an all-out ban, but will most likely use a very underhanded process like making permit's too expensive for many to afford.

In a town near me, if you want to vend, you are looking at a permit that cost's $36,525.00 annually ($100.00/Day) and a sign permit for $250.00.

so if you want to ride a cold-vending tricycle down the road and sell popsicles and pre-pack frozen novelties, your paying the town $100.00 per day so that allow you to do that! this applies to popcorn, Ice-cream trucks, and every other type of vending.

Tell me that wouldn't take a large slice out of you American pie!!
