Maybe a beer or two |
Are you grilling or smoking those wings, because I'm liking your idea on that, but I've never done wings before. |
See post about wing recipe.!!

If I can wait that long I will probably do a butt and ABTs. I like the sound of the moink (sp?) balls but haven't tried before. No time like the present. _________________ Stumps SW2x3

Hey Whitey - I noticed a post you made about Moink Balls. Would you mind posting your recipe?

Harry Nutczak- Very nice ride! Here is my ride. The picture was taken South of Spread Eagle, WI. Not sure if that is near your part of the woods or not.
Smoke On!

I thought Spread Eagle is in Michigan, near Crystal falls? I do remember seeing a gentlemans Club (AKA the nudy-bar) right as you see the sign for Spread Eagle. The highway does cross between the 2 states often in that area though and it can be confusing to know which state your actually in sometimes.
That 2004 MI trail pass on your windshield makes me think the same, And I do not see the Wi non-resident pass on your sled either.
When are you getting up this way next? lets hit Mass City MI for some deep snow fun! _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

First off sorry for the Hijack Burbs
Harry- you could be right about Spread Eagle. We were staying in Iron Mountain and the guy at the lodge told us to take trail 2 if we wanted to head to Iron River however, we had no idea it would take thru the NE part of WI (Florence WI). We found the first trail back North as we didn't have WI trail permits.
BTW- I thought the sign for Spread Eagle was the gentlemans club!
Mass City MI sounds like a lot of fun! We are on the East side of the UP this year. We may head your way next year. _________________ Don

I'm using a recipe out of Stephen Raichlin's BBQ U.S.A book. He has about 4-5 recipes in there for wings.
I haven't decided on which recipe but I know it will have Maytag blue cheese dipping sauce. They only take about 30-40 minutes to cook.
If you don't have his book I can copy a recipe for you. Here's one recipe.I might go for the Louisville wings. But there is a recipe from Anchor Bar in Buffallo where they supposedly were invented that i might try. Here's the Calgary wing recipe.
