HI all,

A couple weeks ago I first posted on this site asking if anyone could help me find a smoker in KY. Big Tom came through and sold me a slightly used Stumps SW2x3, which I picked up on Saturday morning. It was exactly as he described. As you can imagine I couldn't wait for the weather to cooperate to fire it up so I threw on some ribs and side items today.

Here is a link to the photo album. The side items are vegetables and sweet potatoes stuffed with fetta cheese with a dab of butter on top.

All told everything seemed to go fine. This is my first try at an offset smoker so I spent alot of time getting the hang of holding my temp constant.

Thanks Tom for the smoker! My family and I are already enjoying it.

John

Edit: I can't figure out how to get the pictures to show up so I posted the link. Hopefully this works (ps: I even read the tutorial).[/img]

It appears we have to register with your image host in order to see the pictures. A good picture of you smoker on the home page though...

I bet you have to tag them at public or something light that.

Edit: ok I pasted some links above that hopefully work. For some reason I can't upload photos to Photobucket so I tried to use Snapfish.

Thanks guys for the nice words. I have followed this forum off and on over the past several years, but the new smoker has got me all "fired" up again. I bet I have spent the entire morning looking at old posts for tips and tricks, recipes and wood as I plan out my cooking plans for the next several months.
