| Does anyone have any experience with the smoker? I am a beginner and looking for a start-up grill. After finding this site it seems that everyone uses a smoker with an offset firebox. what is the difference or advantage of this type of smoker compared to the egg shaped ones like Weber's. Any advice on this smoker or additional smokers would be appreciated. |

Those are great water smokers. I used them for several years.
Now I use Big Drum Smokers.
Either way, you will have awesome BBQ!! _________________ Rocky Richmond - Big Drum Smokers

| Thanks for advice Rocky, but how does the BDS work? it just looks like a trash can. Is there any ventilation or doors to add wood/charcoal? |
