The family got together for a New Year feast. Me and the bro-in-law (Wooddog22) decided to make our first ABT's we also smoked a brisket.
1. We used half the jalapeno.
2. We seasoned the cream cheese with homemade rub.
3. added a lil' smokie.
4. wrapped them with thick cut bacon from the butcher counter. Fresh cut bacon I think makes a difference.
5. smoked them @225 for 2hrs and the rest is history.
Now we fully understand the addiction of these things.

Funny you should ask, it was one of the best Ive had. The cut of meat was great. I have to give the credit to my bro-in-law (wooddog22) he injected it and gave it a rub. I just provided the smoke (oak)
Just as a side note, I liked your old avatar. |
