Perfect side dish for every BBQ

Take a couple zucchini cut them in finger thik slices put olive oil and garlic on it and put it on the grill.

What recommendations do you have?

I'm assuming that slaw, hushpuppies and beans are all disqualified becaus ethey are staples and thus are considered part of the BBQ and not a side dish.

I always throw a few smoked sausages on as appetizers. I slice 'em up and provide tooth picks. It's generally for the men who usually are gathered round the BBQ drinking daddy sodas.
