Runs about $1250. Seems like a real nice model. My question is before I spend that kind of money is there a better smoker out there, with a horizontal and vertical chamber? Also has very thick metal seems it would be ideal for heat retension.

I welcome any comments. Thanks

Just from my initial viewing, it seems like the firebox might be a bit undersized. I would think for a cooker of that size and can handle that amount of food, the firebox would be need to be a little bigger. Just my two cents worth. Some of the other guys may have some experience with these smokers.

I am a big Brinkman fan but don’t buy this one if you think you can put that much meat (like in the photo) in it. When a smoker passes the $1000 mark, I would ask myself how much meat I really want to cook at on time and how often I will do it. This is a good cooker but there are a lot of other smokers out there at the $500 - $750 range with the same quality. One final note, at the $1500 mark, you start to fine some fine tow behinds.

I like the Oklahoma Joe or the Horizon. They both have models in that price range.
