I have a meeting with my main entertainment provider today.

As most of you know, we usually do a targeted mail-out twice a year with good results (a high ROA).

And as most everyone also knows, the economy is in the dumper, and some innovative marketing has helped to keep us busy.

Most companies have severely cut back on their lavish holiday (and other) parties. I've seen some go from 4 Star Hotel events to having their parties in their own business parking lot in one year! Shocked

So this lends to our next mail-out, which will be to companies in the local area with 50 or more employees.

The emphasis will be on "Affordable Catering and Entertainment".

Affordable, not cheap. If you want cheap, there is still the McDogshizzle option (one that is available but that we don't recommend, of course).

I purchase my contact lead information from Dunhill out of NYC.

Gotta keep movin' if you don't want to fall behind in this economy.................

Good thinking Mike, we have thought about doing this also..but we are still working on the design stages of what, how and pricing of specials, evetns, etc that we would like to offer. I don't want to just shotgun something out there, plus, my real paying job is real busy right now.

What we have heard from companies we have contacted for their "holiday events" is "we are having to lay off employees just to keep the doors open, we just can not justify spending money for an event at this time...maybe next summer"

I have TWO events scheduled for next month where I usually do 8-10 during the month of Dec.
