I haven't been on-line is a while, however now that I'm retired I have more time to view the Smoke Ring site. I do have a homebuilt smoker that built from a old whiskey barrel (gas fired) works grand for a wooden barrel. A few of you gave be ideas building it. Thanks again and it's good to back.

My barrel was an Old Grand Dad from here in Frankfort. I'm getting ready to build a new once the weather gets warmer and I find a another barrel. People kid me about building a gas fired wooden smoker, but it works. Plus it still has the smell of good old boubon whiskey inside.
