Grilled Bourbon Pecan Pie

6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup dark brown sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup Dark Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon Corn Starch
1 tablespoon bourbon
2 cups pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen deep-dish pie crust
2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
1. Preheat grill to 350F.
2. Cream together butter and brown sugar in medium bowl. Add eggs, vanilla, Corn Syrup, Corn Starch and bourbon. Blend well.
3. Place 1 cup pecans in bottom of pie crust. Pour pie mixture over the pecans, and then top with remaining 1 cup pecans.
4. Place on a hot grill, (using indirect heat) sprinkle with cinnamon
5. Bake in the grill at 350F for 55 to 60 minutes or until center appears barely set. Cool to room temperature on wire rack.

I never tried Boubon in my pecan pie. Maybe next week I can give your recipe a go.

Pecan is what I use but you need to have the fire as clean burning as possible.
