I use the "play sand" that you can find at Home Depot or Lowe's as a cheaper alternative to ceramic briquettes in my water pan. Just fill the pan with play sand and then cover in foil and you're good to go.
If you can get past the assembly instructions , these BBQ Pro's are pretty good little cookers for the money, IMO. _________________ Mike
