I'm a lucky guy. My wife looks a lot like photo #1, likes my cooking including smoking / BBQ, she likes to cook too, brings home half the bacon, and she's a good auto mechanic and woodworker as well. She'd have to pay to get rid of me!
She's an only child, and all her female cousins are already married, so no help from me with your search. Best of luck! _________________ Let's hope SoEzzy can ditch his heavy hand on photos in 2016!

It's amazing how a pair of leather chaps can turn a homely girl into an average looking one! _________________ Vermont Castings Gas when I don't have time

I have the opposite problem. My wife loves BBQ, and requests I make it all the time. But has no concept of time it takes to make.
Hell, Just today around 2pm, she said "Why don't you head out to the store, and get some ribs and pork butts for dinner"
Of course my reply was "Sure, Dinner will be ready around 2am"
She laughed and said "Will you make it tonight for lunch tomorrow" which of course I found more reasonable. So I have 2 pork butts and 3 racks of spares going as I type this... |

Mine does the same thing. No concept of time or measurements, thank God. _________________ Vermont Castings Gas when I don't have time

My wife and kids love BBQ. My son wants to help me a bit more each time. It's all good, AND "everything in moderation". I don't think I would enjoy it as much if I smoked.
My wife hates coffee. That means if I want it, I make it. No problem. Just means she has hot chocolate when we go out for coffee. I'm glad, because we have some great conversations when make this time.
As for the girl at the top of the page, good eye candy, that's about it. As most all of you know, that pork butt and brisket don't look so good on the outside. _________________ "Thank Que!"

Apparently all might not be lost.... As much as my wife probably won't say it again, she really made short work of the leftover chicken from the last cook. I have been spatching whole chickens and the leftovers make amazing chicken salad or fajita mix.
Especially with her working and doing a Masters part time, the convenience may win her over for me. I think my error might have been doing too many long cooks to start so she thought everything took too long and was too much of an ordeal.
All offers for my wife will be held until I can confirm my most recent findings!! haha |

Try some more chicken, or a loin or tenderloin, (pork), or chops for speedy cooking, you can often put the smoke to something for an hour or and hour and a half and finish them in the house on the stove or in the oven. _________________ Here's a change Robert.
