|
|
Our Saturday Morning Market opened this past weekend in conjuction with the Susan G. Komen walk/run for a cure, and a new section of the county trail system opening as well.
The market is in a new location, and we were given a very nice spot.
Everyone loved the new BBQ rig, and commented on the newspaper story of a few weeks back.
The guy selling pre-cooked turkey legs and such nearly whiplashed his own neck doing a double take on the new trailer!
We had umpteen people tell us they had waited all summer to get a pork sammie from us.
Drink sales were also heavy due to the race folks joining us.
We had a line 10-20 deep from 11:00 to 1:30 when we basically ran out of everything. Good timing and food quantities, the market closes at 2:00.
A great day to be had by all! _________________ BBQMAN

Thanks guy's.
Yes it's good to be busy. Considering the economy, we also had our best summer ever this year.
No pics this week, maybe next. I was too busy wrangling into our new spot and getting everything set up before the rush hit...................... _________________ BBQMAN

Congrats Mike,
Glad all went well. We had a vending gig last week (3 days) and I know how crazy it can get when everyone comes at the same time. We had 30 people deep in line from before noon to way after like you. Actually had to make two runs to restock drinks and change. |

Congrats Mike!
Look for your catering business to pick up quite a bit from leads generated by the new market and nice rig.
I may bring my cross country team and parents by on Sat Nov 8, as we have a meet at Lopez Park in Tampa that morning. I'll let you know. _________________ Jerk Pit Master
