For cooking on a Treager, you did a great job...!! |
Yeah, i kinda get the feeling around here that the word "Treager" leaves a bad taste in peoples mouth. But i like it. _________________ There's Room For All Of God's Creatures!!! Right Next To The Mashed Potatoes!!! |

Not in my book.. the cookers are very good. I have gotten a couple calls in our national Open using a Treager. In fact my wife cooked a cheese cake that would blow your mind on a big Tex.. tied for second place..
The one thing I have with the cooker is I find it hard to get a deep smoky flavour but I think that is from my lack of experience with the cooker. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

I havent had any problems with that. Do you have the adjustable thermostat or the low med high only settings? _________________ There's Room For All Of God's Creatures!!! Right Next To The Mashed Potatoes!!! |

Only used one that was there for the comp and it had the digital thingy, None the less, I can get way more smoke flavour from my offset or ProBBQ but thankfully the dishes I cooked on the Treager I was not looking for smokey.. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

Yeah, i dont personally care for the sour stuff. I got a little to much "liquid" when i dished it out for that pic but it tasted just fine _________________ There's Room For All Of God's Creatures!!! Right Next To The Mashed Potatoes!!! |

Looks very nice. I am going to have to do a butt this weekend; it's been too long. _________________ Matt

Between work, the ongoing repairs from the April tornado, and my gall bladder surgery (not to mention two vacations from all the above), I've been Qing very little this summer. And it's a bummer to be on here when you ain't Qing, ya know?
But I got back into it a couple weeks ago and cranked out some ribs that a few people claimed were the best they ever had, so I have the bug again. _________________ Matt
