I went fishing up in MN last week, and have not fired up the old cooker in while. So go hard or go home I guess. This was a combo cook. The ribs and chicken were for practice for a comp we're doing in Owensboro, KY next weekend, the butts we're for my wife's work having a luncheon, (their dime not mine) and the beef was for lunches and stuff this week for me. Enough with the talk, here's the pics;

Top round roast

Chicken for comp practice

2 Butts, 3 St. Louis cut slabs

All ready to go on

Some finished products;

The Beef was great I made a sammy with pickles, mayo, horsradish, and Roxy's sauce. (Thanks again)

BTW fishing was a success...

...and the Cubs clinched their Division!! (Brother celebrating with "W" flag)

Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

SSA

Looks like you cooked allot of great food there.
I do the same as you, cook on Sunday and then
have enough food for the whole week just gotta
warm it up.

And how can't you like Walleye

Quick Recipe here
Heck you could probably use Roxy's Sauce.
Coat fillets with a generous coating of honey mustard.
Dip fillets in breading of your choice coating mix,
saltine crumbs, potato buds anything you like
Fry in butter

Stupid Good
Good luck to your Cubbies and Bears

I live in a Golf Course addition, it's great for your own golf, or getting to and from the bar without risking a DUI. The cart itself, is an old, old, POS 1988 E-Z-Go electric but it works just the same! Cool

Thanks for the recipe, when I fry fish, I like to do a variation of what your talking about...BUT...I've been throwing it on the pit more recently, if you do it at high heat (300-325) the sugar in the sauce will carmelize and almost give it a fried texture. Here's a pic of some we did for an "Anything Butt" category in our last comp, took 5th place.

The name of the place was Acorn Hill Resort, located on Leech Lake, just outside of Walker, MN. Good Fishing, Good Times!

You were fishing in some serious muskie territory up there on Leech.

Yeah, there's a muskie tourney up there around this time every year. I've never got one though, I guess I don't have the patience (or stamina) for the "Fish of 10,000 casts. Rolling Eyes
