Got a great cobbler reciepe this weekend to make on the smoker.
2 bags of frozen peaches
12oz can of 7up
yellow cake mix
cinnamon/sugar
honey

Mix can of 7up and yellow cake mix together in a bowl. Place the two bags of frozen peaches in a big foil pan and pour batter on top. Smooth batter over peaches sprinkle cinamon on top of batter evenly and then pour honey on top of that to finish it off. Place on smoker for a couple of hours or until you think it is done. You can cut into it and check batter. Pull off smoker serve with vanilla ice cream. Best damn cobbler I have ever had.

I made a pan of this peach cobbler at our New Year's Eve party - it is fantastic - and very easy to make! Thanks Chris for posting it!

I used apple wood for the smoke so it wasn't an over-powering smoke flavor.

I use that recipe all of the time...excellent...even good for comps

Making sure I got this right. The peaches go in while still frozen, right? You don't want them thawed first??

We used this recipe at our competition last week for the dessert category. We added a grilled peach slice and some glaze to each piece for the judges, it took 15th place out of 51 teams. This stuff is delicious and so easy. Thanks for the recipe!!

I'm planning on trying this recipe for a new years eve cook. About how long does it take in the smoker? I'm trying to plan my afternoon and when I need to do what.
