Another cook on the Weber grill. Seems that I am doing more small cooks on an old Weber that I have. Still jonesing for the new 22.5 WSM to use, but will have to wait till they come out. For small cooks the 22.5 kettle works pretty good with some mods. Cooked a 10.5 # turkey yesterday and it turned out delicious . Brined the turkey first for 24 hrs with a simple brine of salt , brown sugar, and lemons. Rinsed and dried then put olive oil with Tony's,and some Essence, and put on the weber at 325 degrees.Internal temp of 170 at the thigh and taken off at 4 hrs. Tented with foil , then served with green beans and taters.

Got some ribs and a couple of butts to cook so will get out the offset for that one.

Great bird Coalminer! I love Turkey on the Weber kettle, and that's the only way we'll have 'em.

I've always been a big fan of Turkeys on the kettle .. but now I have an offset made of 1/4 inch steel, I'll find out the difference soon.

Great lookign bird, you did a great job on it.
