Good morning everyone,
Was asked by the neighborhood association to cook up some brisket and chicken for an end of summer picnic this Sat. There are 70 people confirmed so far and I expect around 100 to show up. We have 85 lbs of brisket and 12 whole chickens. I hope this is enough, everyone is supposed to bring a side dish or dessert. I think I'll split the breasts in half since they seem to go first in the pecking order.
Beacause of work I won't have time to do the brisket Fri. night/Sat. Morning so I'm cooking them today and will reheat on Sat. while cooking the chicken. Not my preferred way but, I have no choice. That's the joy of working the swing shift. I'll post some pictures along the way and let you all know how it went on Sun.
T.G.I.F.S (Thank god it's football season)
Go MIZZOU,
