My son turned 4...can't believe it! My daughter just started 1st grade the other day. I feel old

Butts took a LONG time exept one so was enough to keep people fed while the others hung out some longer...started drinking EARLY Very Happy

Brisket I actually forgot about as I was trying something new. I normally wrap at 160 with about a 1/3-1/2 cup of smart balance butter/marg.
and then take it to 190-192* however instead of wrapping, I put in a aluminum 1/4 pan and then put the smart balance and covered. However, I stuck it back so far and I only ended up doing one, I spaced it. Went to 203* and it was great. However, you could not cut it. So, I just made pulled beef. Flavor was great. ABT's were gone in minutes, everything else was awesome. Perfect weather, kids had a blast. Sorry, no pics as I hurt. Not so much that it was a long cook but it caught me a bit off guard. the other butts took 2 hours/lb...ugh.

hope everyone elses day was nice!

Hey Reggae- glad your kids birthday went well, even with a couple bumps along the way. My son turned one 2 weeks ago and I did 9 breasts, about 2 dozen thighs, beans, and grilled a dozen burgers and I felt overwhelmed with that!

My birds are just about done, meatloaf has about another hour. I'm sorry guys, but when everyone is doing ribs, butts, and briskets I just can't get too excited about the chicken. The meatloaf is lookin good though.
