Cooked first ABT 's last night. Turned out great and even wrapped some corn up with bacon..Excellent..But I fired up the pit, cracked open my first beer..began cutting the jalapenos and had to go to the restroom....Everything was good ,started cutting up the jalapenos again and then came the BALLS OF FIRE!!! I was on fire...had to let the wife finish and go take a cold shower with alot of soap...
all in all a good night, just a little too hot in some places.. |

I'm trying REAL hard not to laugh out loud too hard! Sad to admit, but I've been there...done that...learned a valuable lesson!

I'd like to bust your , um... well, you know what I mean. Sadly the same thing happened to me and I had diligently scrubbed my hands prior to hitting the head. Latex gloves from then on. That was no fun at all. _________________ Superior Smokers SS-One with Stoker

At least she was nice enough to ask. Mine would have immediately busted out laughing....

I bet you'll NEVER make that mistake again. You're lucky your wife was at least considerate. My wife not only woulda laughed in front of me, but she woulda told me that's what I get for taking them out of the jar without her permission! |

I did something similar once. Had a bottle of "Pure Cap" opened while drinking at a bar I used to work at. Went to relieve the beer I had been drinking. OOPS!

It's a right of passage for BBQers. You have passed the test grasshopper. Now go forth and create good Q.
Milk helps with the burn. But you better do that when the wife's away. _________________ Love the voodoo that Q do.
