In a strange bit of coincidence, I just ordered some TODAY from:

http://www.hawgeyesbbq.com/BBQ-Sauces.html

I sure hope it's as good as everybody says... Wink

i am all for supporting members of the ring. even though sometimes we do not see eye to eye. plus, a buddy of mine over in the cities tried your sauce and loved it. funny thing is he found it by accident. he is not a member here, but was ogeling a horizon at mikes. figured he could at least afford a bottle of sauce, and tried yours. i will be ordering some tomorrow.

Okay, so I ALWAYS make my own sauce... I NEVER buy premade sauces... BUT - you guys have been talkin' about this sauce so much that I went ahead and ordered a bottle! The price for the sauce is very reasonable, but the dang shipping is $9.36... Oh well, it's a lot cheaper than the $238.60 I spent on those stupid domain nemes a couple weeks ago... Wink Very Happy

Okay, FedEx just dropped off my Sa-Mokin BBQ sauce. Couldn't wait so I opened it (VERY well wrapped, BTW Very Happy ).

MMMMMmmmmmm....

I gotta tell ya, this will be the first BBQ sauce that I don't have to do any doctoring to whatsoever. It is wonderful straight out of the bottle! Sweet but not overly sweet and just enough zip at the end.

Awesome job, Sa-Mokin!

I couldn't wait to smoke something, so had some of Patrick's sauce on some burgers..VERY GOOD!!! Crazychef described it as I thought it came out...and it compliments the meat instead of hiding the flavor of the meat. Excellent job Patrick!! Thanks again!! Wink

Howdy,

I really like it on burgers myself and I'm not usually a “BBQ burger” fan. On the same note, I put some on meatloaf and on chopped/hamburger steak... awesome. It's even good on a roast beef sub! I bet it would make a bumper taste good. Smile

I actually made patties and just poured the sauce on top..no onion, tomatoes, pickles..had a light sprinkle of a salt, pepper, garlic rub on them though...the sauce is a hit!! Wink

LOL!!! I haven't tried it on a bumper yet, but who knows. I have heard of someone that uses it like salad dressing, and had someone else say, "they could eat it on cereal".

Thanks Crazy', I'm very pleased that you like it! And you too, Mike!

Actually, you'd have to wrap it in bacon first, smoke slow & low, so the fat renders into the pores of the metal, then glaze with the sauce...
