Sorry to hear about that BBQMAN. It's been a year since I lost my cat/friend of 22 years. Literally grew up with her. I still look around my feet as I walk through the house sometimes to check if she's there.

I know how ya feel. Crying or Very sad

OK Lantern, let's not bring cats into a discussion of good pets. (I'll bet I get some heat for that one!) As Red Forman once said on That 70's Show when someone suggested getting a cat:

"Why don't we just stop flushing the toilets, it's the same thing."

I agree.

Dogs will come when you call them. Cats take a message and get back with you whenever they damn well feel like it!

Sorry about the loss of your dog Mike, we have been married
for almost 43 years and have always had more then
one dog around the house so I feel your pain.
Well we have been with out a pet for about two years
now. It was getting to hard to put them down.
This past winter we picked up a parrot, he should
out live me, so he will have to put me down. Wink

Same can be said of women, but we seem to be very fond of them. At least I am. Very Happy

Sorry for your loss, Mike. You can tell a lot about a man by the way he cares for his pets.

Mike I just got back into town and read your post. You have my deepest sympathy. My daughter is moving out this week and taking one of our dogs and her cat. I am already missing them!

BBQMAN, sorry for your loss. Our two dogs are like our children and I can't imagine not having them around anymore. We found them as strays when they were about 5 months old, that was nine years ago today.
