Posted: Jul 22 2008 Post subject: Need some help Kenmore Vertical Gas modifications |
|
|
I have a Kenmore vertical gas smoker (comparitable to the Great Outdoors smoker)
The smoker seems to be doing pretty good at holding temp at the 225 to 250 range, but the smoke is inconsistant.
I am using a combination of chips and chunks (dry and wet), but it seems like I'll get some nice consistant smoke and sometimes the smoke will push out the exhaust like it is under pressure.
Anyone done any modifications to these or a Great Outdoors that might help me?
Thanks |

I use dry wood chunks. Add them at different times. Say one every half hour. One will heat up while the other is smoking. _________________ "BEER"
