And investing mds2? First time in my life there has not been a shortage of possible investors! he he he!

Since I am a paid advertiser here on the Ring now, I guess I should take the opportunity to say a few things that I have been wanting to say (forgive me Garry)...

First I want to offer my deepest thanks to everyone for all the compliments, kudos, and kind words about my sauce. I can't tell you all how much it means to me and how much I appreciate it. (I get the feeling that some are getting tired of talk about my sauce.... sorry guys!)

Secondly, I want everyone who may have a doubt to know that I have not solicited any of the comments that have been posted here about my sauce. What I did do was send out some samples of my sauce to selected members here on the Smoke Ring in different geographic area to sample and the only obligation (optional actually) was to give me their honest opinion about the sauce. Since sauce is so regional, I did this to try to get a feel for what areas of the US my sauce might sell in. What I was expecting was a PM's back. I certainly never expected some of the online responses that have been posted. Embarassed I have to say that my biggest surprise was to find that my sauce was warmly accepted in North Carolina. Since I have always heard that NC sauce was mustard or vinegar based I did not expect it to be accepted there. I am very pleased.

Again, I want to thank EVERYONE for the warm reception. I will soon post where all it will be available.

Thanks Ringers, you all are the absolute GREATEST!!!

The only place it is currently available in Iowa is from Hawgeyesbbq, either from their location in Ankeny, or online at Hawgeyesbbq.com.

Congrats! any chance i'll be seeing it up here in NY or is hawgeyesbbq.com my only shot? cause $9.31 shipping+$6 sauce... $15 a little above my price range for a normal size bottle of sauce. maybe if i order a few pounds of wood, itll be worth an order.

In the overflooded sauce market it's hard to break out so congrats on the success of the sauce Patrick.

I tried it out last weekend on some ribs. Good stuff indeed! Very Happy I still have some left and we are doing a "ribfest" at my dads next weekend to celebrate a few july b-day's (mine included Cool ). I will be sure to take it with me to get more feedback for you.

It made my 4th perfect! I was told numerous times how good my ribs/chicken/brisket was. I felt sorry for my father who had cooked on a seperate cooker. (WE COMPETE)

But I know for a fact it was the SAUCE.

I dont doubt that at all. Smile You have a great product, and I could have probably sold 50 bottles of it this last weekend.

empnero,
You have a PM

Doc,
You are right. When my family and friends kept telling me that I needed to market the sauce, I just kept thinking... Yah, that's just what the world needs, YET ANOTHER barbeque sauce. I'm beginning to think that maybe there was still room for one more. Laughing

tic,
It's always nice to humble dads when it comes to barbeque! Wink

mds2,
Dang Mike, sounds like your ready to open up shop. THANKS!

Great news on the USA Drug front. I pass by one every day on my way to and from work. Additionally, they have some of the best beer prices in town and sell ice for $.89 per bag.

If only they sold pork!

Thanks Mike! It always chaps me to see people taking advantage of forums for their personal gain and I do not do that.

WHAT, you never got the sample I sent you? NO wonder I never got any response back from you. I thought maybe you didn't like it! Wink Laughing
