I am looking at buying this smoker, it is set up for a whole hog because it has one large grate for the pig, but i think one could add a few more selves in it fairly easy. it has a 37x64 cooking area, the frame is all metal, and everything is in decent shape just needs paint and a few things built on like counter, and maybe a deep fryer and cooler holder.

How thick is the steel, and does that small firebox do the trick?
Hate to answerer a question with another....
It's certainly not worth over $1000.... There is a guy on ebay in FL that sells much nicer units for $1500... I would go $600, maybe $700 tops on that.. |

i dont know about that firebox...need some more pics. if you can get it for 5 bills or less and then do a burn in it to see what happens you should be good. i wouldnt buy it unless it had 3/8 or 1/4 inch metal. you can always move the f-box or make it bigger if needed. |

one plus is this thing is in my area... i think it has potential if you had some extra bracing welded on so you can extend the floor front and back just a bit. with the addition of a deep fryer, and some storage could this be a good pit for under 800?? _________________ bullpin double barrel smoker

As long as you are happy with the thickness then $400-500 is worth it. With a cooking section that big I would imagine that it really needed the second axle so towing it on a highway might problematic. _________________ https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaeloberry |

| They got a great deal. I think it's worth more than $600. |
