I am looking for a good quality Dual Probe Thermometer. I have purchased a new WSM and was wanting a dual probe on for the meat and one for the grill also would like it to be wireless! Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance for you help! Or if anyone has any better Ideas for thermometers for the WSM that would be great to. _________________ I usually Find'um Hot & Leave'um Wet but now I am Gettin'um Hot & Leavin'um Smokin!

I just use an analog candy thermometer through the vent hole in the top, I use the clip meant to hold it on to the side of the pan to clip it onto the vent adjusters.
All the wireless two probe therms under $40.00 were having problems with build quality and reliability when I started quing, so I didn't waste my money on them.
Some folks like the maverick, some like the Oragon Scientific, some talk about the Polder.
Do a search at the top or Maverick you'll get most of the posts about thermometers. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

I had the same question. I just don't trust the thermometer on the door of my smoker.
So if I use my analog thermometer from my turkey frier that should work to? (as far as smoke temps go) |

I have used Polders and Mavericks in the past and had multiple problems with both. Right now I am using a NU-Temp which accomodates 3 remote sensors. It is pricey but has a better range than the other two and no problems since I purchased them 2 months ago.

| Teleking I was waiting for your reply. Somehow I knew you couldn't resist the old digital question. Haha Remember when I learned my lesson? |

Like a moth to the flame. Been on the road for work so my posts will be a little sparse for the summer season. _________________ “Franken Smoker”
