I found another video for chicken lollipops and you can use the 2 bone section of the wing. You just pull out the smaller bone:

I would never marinate a chicken wing. Too much fat & flavor in there to even think you can improve upon it.

Lollipops are good for catered events when you can charge a pricey amount for the work involved, but at home they just go from the package to the grill/fryer.

I can hear the telephone conversation now...the day before the Super Bowl........"Hey Ralph. So Jim, Bob, Randy, & Frank are all going to be there for the big game?!? Cool! ... What's that? Jim is bringing a keg? Beer!!! ... Huh? Bob is bringing moink balls & ABTs?!? Awesome! ... And Randy & Frank are bringing pulled pork and TWO WHOLE BRISKETS!!!???!!! ... This is wonderful news! I guess I could bring some of my special chicken lollipops. How's that sound? Think it will go well with the Budweiser? I bet the guys will be super duper excited."

Yea but what about a party where they tell you to bring finger food? Brisket/Pulled pork won't work for that. I've had people rave over my Tandoori lollipops.

I didn't say don't do it, George. I only made a joke about it.

Whatever works for you my man.

It is true that if given the choice of a good smoked brisket or lollipops, I wold probably pick brisket.
