| What (and where to get) is the best non digital thermometer out there? Looking for two one to install on my smoker and one for checking meat temp. I already own the digital (two probe)ones. |

| Hey Teleking you were right about the digital thermos. Mine s**t the bed after about four smokes. One probe was reading 20 degrees higher that the other. And I was real careful with them too. Thanks all I will check into the ones you've told me about. Teleking sorry if I came across about giving you crap about the digital ones. You were right I was wrong. |

Send it, or bring it back for a refund or replacement.

I use a maverick and love it. It tells the smoker temp as well as the food temp. _________________ Mike C.

No worries, my opinions on them are based on experience as you just found out the way I did. I got some pretty thick skin! Reading that just made my day _________________ “Franken Smoker”
