I've got a set of those, they are nipple handcuffs with an attatched back strap.

A lot of great answers but the one you want is....the match inserts on the extension and the chain attaches to the grill so you can find it when the sparky thingy don't work.

Well, thanks to all who weighed in on this stumper.
It is indeed a match-lighting tool, that attaches to either door to keep it from wandering away.
Some very entertaining posts indeed....blowing Bubbles.
