The "Food Saver" brand has been excellent for me.
I suggest getting the best one you can afford, with accessory vacuum capabilities for containers, and a bag cutter right on the unit.
Try this question in the general forum, you'll get tons of suggestions. _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

| Food Saver comes with pre-cut bags and you can also get rolles of the bags material. I like the rolls best, that way I can custom cut the length bag I need. Got mine about 6-7 years ago from QVC. They still carry them and they have features I wish mine had. May have to order another and can the one I have. |

I got a Food Saver this year and I like it. As already stated it came with pre cut bags and a couple rolls of bag stock. It has the bag cutter on it as well. Overall I have been really happy with it. _________________ Superior Smokers SS-One with Stoker

I got a foodsaver last November. I think it's the 850 model. It's a basic unit and came with all the attachments and extra containers. It works great. I used it to seal smoked cheese around the holidays and I have some foodsavered pulled pork thawing in the fridge right now. This is the 2nd bag of pork I've thawed and the first was still awesome. I'd almost say better than when it was fresh.
Don't waste your money on a food sealer, they suck. Check craigslist for used foodsaver models if you don't want to spend the $ for a new one. _________________ The American Atomic Buffalo Turd Society of America
