Does anyone know of any good BBQ places in Denver or Boulder Colorado? I've tried KTs and it is decent, but I am looking for something truely great. Suggestions? _________________ "BBQ Contest: The only place you spend $500.00 for a $2.00 ribbon."

OK, we've only been there once so don't know how consistent it is. Try Brickyard BBQ at County Line and Broadway in Littleton. Tried the brisket burnt ends and pulled pork, both excellent! Burnt ends may have been the best I have had. Don't know about sides other than their salad which was BAD.
Otherwise Denver is a BBQ wasteland. There is a lot of REALLY bad 'Q there. |

Up behind Dever is Central City. It's been taken over by the gambling halls but years ago I had some really good burnt ends there. I am a sucker for mesquite smoke and that was what was used there. Can't say if the place still exists any more though. If I remember and the main road goes north-south It was at the extreme west end of town and up against the ridge. _________________ Shellfish, Q and beer! My trilogy! |
