Ate there today, busted a gut because the food was good, definitely not the best I've had, you wouldn't be able to tell that by how fast our group chowed down.

Chopped Q, was decently moist, imho needed the sauce, enc vinegar based or vinegar habanero mix(was really good, caused forehead to sweat). No bark whatsoever.
My boss had coarse chopped which was like cubes almost for $1 more, I like consistency of reg. chopped better. The hushpuppys were great, slaw I didn't order, looked disgusting, like rotten rice.

I like the place, but most of us do much better q at home.

LMAO!! "rotten rice"

The red slaw is definitely a love/hate deal.

Did you have the outside brown or white or lean?

If your referring to q must have been white and lean, prefer lots o brown(bark), didn't know it was an option.

The rice, er slaw, had a less than red tint, more like yellow mud. When I saw it waiting in line I thought , no way I could stomach that.

I don't know why they don't mention that you can get it that way. I thought the same thing the first time I came through there. Looks like they would want you to think there are options so that you order even more.

It would explain why some people come away thinking the pork had very light smoke flavor and some come away thinking it had plenty.

Luckily I was well read on the joint so I asked for outside brown. I have an extreme love for pork fat so I wish there was an option for outside brown and fat. Laughing
