I will be driving from North Texas to Florida in the next month. I was wondering if I can get advice on a good place to stop between Texas and Florida for BBQ. thanks

The "Brick Pit" in Mobile ,Alabama is pretty good. It is about 10-15 min north of I-10 in the city limits of Mobile. Google it to get directions.

Another good one is LA BBQ in Summerdale, AL. It is on Hwy 59 S about 20 minutes off of I-10. It is between Mobile, AL & Pensacola, FL. Brisket and Ribs are really good. The 'tato salad is different, they put sour cream in it. I like it a lot. Beans are OK, never had the cole slaw, desserts are fantastic!
