I can't believe how well the dpp Fat40 cooks. Everything you all said about the dpp is true. One of the easiest cookers to cook on I have ever used. It took a little while to get up to temp but, after that it was a split or two every hour. MOHusker and I appreciate all the info we read on the ring while we were looking to buy a new smoker. We are going to use the new smoker in a small comp in April in Sugar Creek, MO. Has anyone cooked in this comp before? As this will be our first comp, we would like to know what to expect.
OakieJay, Bryan and I want to thank you for the smoker. It must have been hard to part with such a fine cooker. I'm sure you and Travis will come up with something to blow us all away. It cooked so well we completely forgot to take any pictures of the finished product. We will be sure to get some pics of the competition and post them for you.
Thanks again,
Gary and Bryan
