I was just sitting here reading and snacking on some pistachio's when it dawned on me, can these shells be used for smoking?
There not the red dyed type so I was wondering if anyone has attempted this yet?
They do look pretty spread out in the indoor house plants pots, but if I can find another good use that'll be perfect.
Thanks for any input. |

I would love to know the answer to this, too.
We eat a ton of pistachios at work. We tried them out of the shell but I think what we like is the mini-break we get while we stand and open a few.
Does anyone know? _________________ Mark Hester

| I guess nobody has ever tried this yet, so when I have time I'll just experiment with an inexpensive piece of meat myself then post the results. |

I don't know about pistachio shells but I would think the result would be the same as peanut shells that I've tried. They burned up too fast to make any smoke. |
