is to join your local chamber of commerce. Ours has a monthly "Business after hours" where a local business hosts it at their location. They ALWAYS have food of some kind at these and it always comes from a local caterer. Always appetizers or snack foods of some kind, not a real MEAL...although it is held in the evening right after work so MOST make a meal out of it

I belong to our local chamber and plan to meet with the person incharge of putting these things together and find out how I can get my name into the hat of available caterers to provide the food.

I know it is the responsibility of the host of the event to get their own food source, I just need to know what company is planning one in the near future so I can talk to them directly.

The cost to host one of these is $500.00. I would provide the food for FREE if someone would use my company. (usually up to 150 people show up for these).

Our chamber also has what is called "Morning mixers" the second Tuesday of each month with the same type thing going....usually the food is breakfast tyoe stuff. Not sure BBQ would fit in there...but hey, I eat BBQ for breakfast, why not them???
