Well, I just made a batch of this tonight for the pulled pork for tomorrow. I can't stop tasting this stuff from the spoon!!! And what's more, it's super low calorie!!!!!!
Thanks for this one Roxy!
I'm gonna try your Saturday Night Special Sauce for a red next time. That seems like a killer base for multiple flavor profiles I like to do. I'm a fan of the fruited sauces (apricot, raspberry, etc) and I think this could be tweaked to easily handle all of those. I gotta try it in it's original though first before I tweak to my tastes.
Thanks again!!! You da man! |

Add me to the bandwagon!! Made this last week in addition to a KC style red sauce and a EC style vinegar sauce so that people could try the range of sauce types. 18lbs of PP (pre-cooked) and about 24 people came over. This sauce got rave reviews! Even those who don't care for mustard could not resist. Everyone wanted the recipe so I shared with full disclosure.
Yesterday someone else made pulled pork and one of my guests was there. They raved about the sauce, and while they were eating I got a call to bring some over. So I did, and printed copies of the recipe for them to hand out. I don't mind making and sharing but hey who wants to get pulled away for a delivery on a Saturday night??
Thanks again! |

Hello Everyone, I have been lurking around this site for about a year or so. Picked up a lot of great information along the way. I am not usually one to post to much on these boards but this mustard sauce is over the top. I rarely find anything I don't tweak in some way, but I am not sure this can be improved on. 10+ and kudos to the developer. This one will definitely have a regular place at my cooks. Thanks for sharing. |

Just a quick note that this was a HUGE hit at the Super Bowl party last night. This was my first attempt at pulled pork and I think this sauce just became my go-to. I was a bit concerned when I tried it out by itself (kinda strong on the vinegar), but once on the meat it was just perfect. Thanks so much for posting this. |

Liking it?!? Love it at my house, I always have a jar in the fridge! I put it on dang near everything! That is everything but your coleslaw, best I ever had just the way it is! Make some every weekend and got it in my lunchpail every day. Thanx for the recipe's roxy, if you ever put out a cookbook you got one sold here for sure. Your BBQ sauce is next on my list. Thanx (still a newbie but learnin'), _________________ Mike |

It only took me nearly a year to finally try this sauce Roxy - I WILL be putting it out on my buffet lines!! Your name will be on the bottle!!I recently tried a cattleman mustard that was kinda good, but would much rather make this on site fresh for my clients!
Thanks for the recipe!!!
I'll work on a label that does you and your sauce justice!- but gonna keep it nice and simple, like the sauce!! _________________ Money Maker

Not to keep hijacking your post Roxy, but man, did this stuff go over great at my boy's college track meet on Saturday!! Coaches were asking for the recipe and throwers were doing squeeze shots out of the bottle!!.lol We have a fund raiser at the College next weekend, so I hopefully made enough!
About 2 gallons! Your name will be on the jugs! _________________ Money Maker

Just wanted to weigh in on this one. Phenomenal recipe. Really tasty, and dead simple. You can't beat it, nor can you screw it up. |

Well Roxy, once again your sauce did not fail me. I had a small cook to do yesterday for 50 people. Pull pork was one thing on the menu and I always make your sauce. I follow the recipe "to the letter" and it kills them everytime. Sure glad there are friends like you out there, willing to share such a great recipe.

Dude! Wow, this sauce is awesome!
I quadrupled the recipe and it made just over 2 Litres.
My cousin from Cape Breton stopped by. I hadn't seen him in 15 years.
I made up some pulled pork.
He had never eaten a sandwich like that before!
He wants this recipe and the cole slaw recipe as well.
Thanks again, buddy. _________________ "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."
