Phils?

Anyone know anything about Phils? A friend of mine went to one and left without eating there. He ended up down the street and ate there,but on the wall he read "it sure beats the hell out of phils". So I looked it up online and it didn't have many good reviews.

It would help to let us know where you live. This forum has people from all over the U.S. and some from other countries, so we have no idea where "phils," even is.

I live in k.c. The phils I am talking about is a suburb of st.louis.

The phils in san diego is good. I ate there many times. I was stationed with the u.s. marines.

But the one in st.louis was the one i had in ? cuz I'm taking my wife to six flags and planned on eating there but then my friend and the web showed not so good reviews. So I thought someone here could help me out.

I have eaten at Phils Barbecue in San Diego and I thought it was excellent! Great sauce, IMO. They have been in business a long time, every time I went there I had to wait in line to get some Q.
