Wow, that's a big un'!!!!!!

How come no paint? I would imagine you intend to weld on it, and then paint later when you are done?

Keep us posted on the final build, that looks like a great project. Very Happy

How did you lay out the hinges on that one? Is it just get the hinges Plum? And they will swing away with no probs? or is there a secret there?

Wow that is big Shocked Pretty impressive project there. I have to say, I like the way it is configured on that trailer. It looks very accessible. Great design. Hope to see pics of the first smoke.

jaimreb, that's great. Can you show us the design and diminsions of the rotisserie relative to the diameter of the cooker. I figure there are some guidelines on shelf size, support arm length, gears, RPMs, terminology, etc. Thanks.

Now that's a smoker! I'm guessing the welds alone probably weigh as much as my entire smoker. Cool

The trays will be 3ft.3" long x 12" wide. It will have 8 trays 4 on each side. The shaft will be 1 1/2 solid rod. Will have bearrings on each end. Will have 3 plates inside 34" to 32 "dim. One on each end and one in the middle to hang trays on I am hopeing to gear it down to 1RPM. Someone asked me why not put 6ft.trays. For one thing I can handle one tray my self so I can take it out to clean and I can cook different foods without cross over.If I need to only cook on one side I can. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks James
