Wow, that's a big un'!!!!!!
How come no paint? I would imagine you intend to weld on it, and then paint later when you are done?
Keep us posted on the final build, that looks like a great project. _________________ BBQMAN

Wow that is big Pretty impressive project there. I have to say, I like the way it is configured on that trailer. It looks very accessible. Great design. Hope to see pics of the first smoke. _________________ Low and slow that is the tempo!

jaimreb, that's great. Can you show us the design and diminsions of the rotisserie relative to the diameter of the cooker. I figure there are some guidelines on shelf size, support arm length, gears, RPMs, terminology, etc. Thanks. _________________ D. Tillery

Now that's a smoker! I'm guessing the welds alone probably weigh as much as my entire smoker. |

| The trays will be 3ft.3" long x 12" wide. It will have 8 trays 4 on each side. The shaft will be 1 1/2 solid rod. Will have bearrings on each end. Will have 3 plates inside 34" to 32 "dim. One on each end and one in the middle to hang trays on I am hopeing to gear it down to 1RPM. Someone asked me why not put 6ft.trays. For one thing I can handle one tray my self so I can take it out to clean and I can cook different foods without cross over.If I need to only cook on one side I can. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks James |
