We've been doin' some mixed veggies I want to share with ya'll.
We chunk cut 2 bundles celery, 4lbs. carrots, 1 cabbage (opt.), 10lbs. spuds, 6 zuccinis, 4 jalapenos, 6 bell peppers, and 6 sweet onions.
Pour a cup of oil and a beer into two large foil roasting pans and add the mixture. Add enough water to pretty much fill the pans. Add garlic, salt, pepper, secret seasonings, and two beef boulun in each.
We set both pans on top of our firebox and stir it 3 or 4 times, for 20 or so minutes, then cover it with foil. It usually is done in about 40 minutes and people will knock you down gettin' at it.

I'm especially forthright with the ones that stink. As a matter of fact, I've got enough of a collection I could publish a cookbook..."This Sucks!!(a collection of awful BBQ recipies)" Look for it at you local Barnes and Noble or Borders soon Laughing

PostPosted: Sep 21 2005    Post subject: Secret Seasonings Reply with quote

Ok doogie I'm gonna start a new thread and if it gets as much response as Fess Up did I will give you my secret seasoning. The rules will be that you can only post as many times as you did in Fess Up, and 3 out of 4 of the other members have to reveal a secret seasoning too. Lets see what happens. hehe

I don't keep secrets, because I don't need to. I could talk all day and night about using this ingredient or that one, or using this equipment, or this or that method. Truth is, each of you would simply take that and incorporate it into your own style. None of you would be stealing my idea and none of you would be duplicating my results either. Therefore, why worry about hoarding a secret? Nobody's gonna beat you by knowing it! You win or lose based on technique, the secret is just a placebo to make you feel like you're special somehow!
