Places to stay in Florida

Hello. Can anyone out there recommend a nice hotel/resort to spend a few nights in Florida in mid-February. Just a Northerner looking to head South for a long weekend. I was thinking particularly of either the Tampa, or Sarasota area. On the other hand, if you know of places to avoid, that's be great, too. Thanks.

Depends on what you are looking for. Golf -Naples , Beaches -Pine island,Attractions tampa-orlando, Q- forget it unless BBQ Man or Milt Invite you to dinner..

There are some great places to stay on the beach here. Depends on your budget.

Also, those month's are BUSY. Send me a PM with a number and I'll give ya a call fuzzbucket.

If you are here in the area on a Saturday, we will feed you a complimetary lunch at the market (or anywhere else we happen to be that weekend).

Jess, BBQMAN, thanks for the kind replies and insight. I lucked out and have access to a 5 bedroom house in Celebration for free thanks to my brother-in-law. Can't pass that up and I'll get to see the Tribe in Spring Training! Thanks again...
