Well... I usually get my Christmas Bonus about 48 hours before Christmas. So, I'd say about 24 hours before Christmas would be about right for me _________________ Superior Smokers SS-One with Stoker

All of mine is done before Thanksgiving... I don't set foot near a mall or department store after that. _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

7:00 AM 12/25/07 this year!
7:00 AM 12/25/08 next year!
etc.
My mother used to shop in the post Xmas sales for the majority of presents she planned to give next Xmas, she also shopped for birthday presents the same way.
I should have learned from her and do it this way myself...but I don't or can't or won't, I'm not sure which it is! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Sometimes I finish up while we are opening gifts
No need to get done to early.

O man! haha. That's funny.
The smartest choice is to avoid the mall chaos as much as you can. A pat on the back to everyone who's done. I find that gift cards are a great way to avoid the malls as well. You can't go wrong with gift cards.
Does anyone else say "Merry Christmas" with gift cards? |

When I was a young lad, and had various girl friends in H.S. and College, I would always spend Christmas with my family, and see them the day after. Which worked out great. All the good sales start the day after Christmas. I could really load up _________________ When all is said and done, more will be said than done! |

Take care,

| I just love their are more ways to shop now besides the malls. There's online shopping and a bunch of different stores outside malls selling gift cards. |

What he said - seriously - I've been in the same spot as well.
I do prefer the freedom of ordering via the web using one-time-use safe shopping credit card numbers and the wonders of shipping to another address if practical. I'm not a mall-trolling kinda guy (but I can browse in grocery stores & specialty food shops enough for the wife to define grocery shopping with me as an 'excrutiating' experience). _________________ Let's hope SoEzzy can ditch his heavy hand on photos in 2016!

Online shopping and gift cards are overall best ways to avoid malls. Have u seen how many different gift cards they are selling in grocery stores now? Safeway has a huge rack with over 250 of different gift cards on it. That's a lot!
....and on the "huge rack"....keep it clean people! |
