I smoked 22 lbs of pork butts for thanksgiving and fried a turkey (had no more room in the smoker for the turkey). I think it turned out great....

How about posting your rub here so we can possibly use.. I have the same identical smoker you have and cannot find the nerve to smoke my first roast. Approximatley how long did it take to finish the roast and at what temp did you remove from smoker?  |

I don't know if it is alright to post a link to an advertising sight, or not but this is the rub I used:

I pulled the butts off the smoker at 195 deg. and put them in a cooler with paper in the bottom to soak up all the excess grease. I left them in the cooler for 30 min before I started to pull/chop them. |
