Jib,
Apparently you have stumbled onto the gift of the year. I went to five of the major electronic gadget suppliers in Columbus, GA today (Sam's Club, Circuit City, Staples, Office Depot, and Best Buy); and they were all sold out. A couple of them had the 15 inch frames in stock for $399; but none had the more popular 7 and 8 inchers.
At each store, I ran into other irate customers who were on the same quest as I was. Allegedly, Sam's Club has 45 of the eight inchers on a truck which which will be unloaded tonight.
I will be setting my alarm a little earlier in hopes of getting there before they are all gone tomorrow.
