I want to know if there is enough interest out there to support a KCBS sanctioned BBQ event in or around Columbus, Ohio.

You might want to get in touch with Steve and Scott Grinstead who are the long time organizers of the Nelsonville contest and also KCBS Reps. I think they now live up near Columbus and might want to start a contest as well.

Fairbanks, Indiana contest is also less than 2-1/2 hours for you and does that mean we will see you this weekend??? Would be nice!

That was going to be our 1st comp, but most of our team can't be there this weekend.  I've heard quite a bit about it in the comp forum, and I'm sorry we can't go. Right now we're going to Goshen in mid July, and Madison in mid August. I'm looking to add more as well.
