Hello everyone, I just wanted to drop a line and see what is going on. I am new to the sight and rather new to BBQ'ing myself. My step-father got me into BBQ'ing a few years ago. After seeing what he could do with his Oklahoma Joe's pit, I new I wanted to start Q'ing myself. I recently purchased the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker to go along with my two 18 1/2 inch Weber One Touch's. I love to BBQ and would love to learn from anyone who has any tips on recipes or the WSM. I did my first brisket and pork butt over the weekend and they turned out rather good. I am always looking for more ideas.
Please drop a line anytime. I am always looking for someone local to BBQ with. |

Welcome to the ring!!!! Glad to see another Missourian on here. My only bbq advice is keep it simple for know. Once you have mastered your smoker then you can go crazy with fancy recipes and wacky marinades.
You're going to knock everyones socks off with your Q. _________________ The American Atomic Buffalo Turd Society of America

Welcome to the Ring!
Nothing better than a Weber Smoker. You should find that that smoker has the best bang for the buck. _________________ Will
