| If you stand it up use a Fosters can it is wide enough to hold the bird. If you lay it down you can use a normal size can and poke a hole in the can while holding it horizontal. |

I was thinking the same thing...."it would have to be a BIG can-o-beer".
Dont know if it would work good or not. Try it, let us know.

We sell em that big up here in Canada, they are the same as three cans and they are about 9 inches tall they would be perfect for turkey.
I can ship them to you, empty of beer of course for just $19.95 plus shipping and handling... _________________ Chargriller Akorn

| A turkeys ass is much bigger than a chickens ass as you well know. Season the same and use a can of Fosters Ale. Drink a few while you wait. Smoke until juice runs clear. |

The purpose of the beer can is moisture. Paul Kirk has a recipe in his book for turkey. You stuff it with Apples and onions for moisture. I tried this and it turned out really good. It's a gimme in my book. Can't screw it up. _________________ "BBQ may not be a religion in Texas, but the two institutions are closely associated."
